I’ve worked out some background settings for my new Sci-Fi setting. Put in some perspective grids and went a little too far in details on the mountain city scene when I still need to correct the perspective of the ship which should be the focal point. My newest work is an abstract of Pampas Grass in that magical hour before the sun goes down behind the Rocky Mountains, Pikes Peak to be specific. The dancing tufts whisper and sigh with a musical quality in the stronger gusts of an autumn afternoon before the storm. The work was started in Corel Painter and finished in Photoshop. Late Afternoon Pampas Grass I’ve been doing probably 4-5 plus sheets a day of fully black or grayscale silhouettes (I lovingly call sils) and decided I should probably pick one to finish into a Sci-fi fine work of art to add to my portfolio.
