I have my hand in a few projects lately, one being  the Sci-Fi project that I will update in a couple of days. One of the gifts I received for Christmas was an iTunes gift card and the first thing I spent it on was the Pose Tool app that I’ve enjoyed hours of playing with since purchasing it. Take a few minutes and watch the video. If you’re an artist I can say this is so more effective than the wooden Mannequin that everyone seems to have posed near their desk but hardly ever uses to actually draw a figure....

I’ve been experimenting more with an ink wash style that is an abstract realism. I thought in this post I would also show you some of the process I used in coming up with SHE WATCHES THE SUNRISE, and the others that follow.  I start out with a color-toned Silhouette in this case. Most of the time the silhouettes start out black.   Then I painted in the the beginnings of  background and refined the figure more.
