I’m always playing with brushes, shapes, and designs.  I will often start by just  randomly scribbling some values and tones down in Photoshop. Then I will use the warp tool to change it. Warping a shape multiple times will sometimes give me incredibly realistic detail while other times it just makes it blurry. Thats when I go back in and paint or draw in the details by hand if the shape is interesting enough to me. I then sometimes mirror the shapes or combine different shapes to create new shapes....

I have my hand in a few projects lately, one being  the Sci-Fi project that I will update in a couple of days. One of the gifts I received for Christmas was an iTunes gift card and the first thing I spent it on was the Pose Tool app that I’ve enjoyed hours of playing with since purchasing it. Take a few minutes and watch the video. If you’re an artist I can say this is so more effective than the wooden Mannequin that everyone seems to have posed near their desk but hardly ever uses to actually draw a figure....

I’ve worked out some background settings for my new Sci-Fi setting. Put in some perspective grids and went a little too far in details on the mountain city scene when I still need to correct the perspective of the ship which should be the focal point. I am leaning toward doing the mountain city scene rather than the Miami like scene. Could it be because I’m from Colorado? Which would you like to see developed? Join My Mailing...
